Hong Kong welcomes three baby ‘Rabbits’ on Lunar New Year’s Day
Two boys and a girl are welcomed into this world on Sunday as Hong Kong refreshes the Lunar Calendar and enters the Year of the Rabbit.
The first one is a boy weighing about 2.94 kg. He was born at the United Christian Hospital at 0.03am.
He was delivered naturally and the boy and his mother are now in stable condition. The boy is also the family's first child. Mr and Mrs Lee are thrilled as they did not expect the baby will be born on the first day of the Lunar New Year. They wish their son to grow up safe, happy and healthy.
Another baby boy, weighing 2.9kg, was born in Queen Mary Hospital at 0.25am.
He is also the first child in his family. Since he has a round face, his parents Mr and Mrs Yung called him "Little Bun". They wish "Little Bun" good health.
Separately, a baby girl weighing about 2.9 kg was delivered naturally at the Baptist Hospital at 0.51am.
