Three years into the Covid pandemic, sources said the SAR government is looking into canceling quarantine requirements for Covid-positive individuals, and will drop the mask mandate between March and April at the earliest.
As the city started to pick up its pace on the road to normalcy, sources said on Wednesday that the SAR government is looking into lifting all quarantine requirements for
Covid-positive patients after the Lunar New Year.
Apart from dropping the quarantine mandate, all quarantine facilities, as well as designated
Covid clinics and the Hospital Authority’s teleconsultation service, will suspend their operations by then.
It is understood that the mask mandate will be the last
Covid rule to be lifted between March and April at the earliest.
