Hong Kong reported two imported cases of Covid-19, marking the second day in a row with no local case.
The two cases were an 18-year-old woman from the United Kingdom and a 45-year-old from Russia, bringing the city’s tally to 11,912.
Both patients carried the L452R mutant strain.
Yesterday, Hong Kong saw four imported
Covid cases, two from the UK while the others arrived from Indonesia and Bangladesh.
Meanwhile, a 33-year-old woman was sentenced to 14-days of imprisonment at the Kwun Tong Magistrates' Courts for breaching the quarantine order.
The woman was given a 14-day mandatory quarantine order earlier yet she left the quarantine hotel on June 21, without having the approval of authorized officers.
