The government confirmed the services of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link (Hong Kong Section) will resume services starting from Sunday (Jan 15).
The high-speed rail link between West Kowloon Station and Futian, Shenzhen North (Shenzhenbei) and Guangzhou South (Guangzhounan) Stations will be resumed at the initial resumption stage, with the newly introduced services to and from Guangzhou East (Guangzhoudong).
“The trains will be calling at Guangmingcheng, Humen, Qingsheng, and the newly added Dongguan South (Dongguannan) and Dongguan Stations,” a government spokesman said.
The opening hours of the West Kowloon Control Point will remain the same as before from 6.30am to 11.30pm.
Passengers who have purchased tickets can travel between Hong Kong and the mainland through the control point with a valid ticket, with no booking required.
Commuters entering the mainland from Hong Kong, or vice versa, must possess a negative result of a
Covid-19 nucleic acid test conducted within 48 hours.
