Hong Kong recorded the hottest day of the year so far on Friday, with the Hong Kong Observatory recorded a maximum temperature of 34 degrees Celsius.
The observatory also forecasted the very hot weather to continue into the weekend.

Facebook page, the forecaster said despite part of Hong Kong hit by heavy rain and thunderstorm, the weather remains very hot in the area today, which is expected to continue on Saturday and Sunday.
It also reminded members of the public to stay hydrated and beware of heat strokes.
The temperature remains very hot on the weekend, with a maximum of 34 degrees Celsius over Saturday and Sunday. There will also be isolated showers tomorrow morning.
It is likely to see both showers and sunny spells on Tuesday, with highs of 32 degrees Celsius due to southerly airstream, according to the Observatory.
