Hong Kong Official to Visit Southeast Asia to Boost Exports Amidst 13 Months of Decline
Hong Kong's Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, John Lee, will travel to Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia next month to strengthen ties with Asean members and boost exports, which have been declining for 13 consecutive months.
The latest trade data shows a 15.6% drop in exports in May compared to the previous year and a 16.7% drop in imports.
