Hong Kong Flower Show returns to Victoria Park after Covid hiatus
The Hong Kong Flower Show is finally back after a three-year Covid hiatus, with the show to be held from March 10 to 19 at Victoria Park in Causeway Bay.
The theme of this year's show is “Bliss in Bloom,” featuring the gorgeously and uniquely grown hydrangea as its theme flower.
Over 225 organizations from the city, the Mainland, and overseas will display various exotic flowers and a rich profusion of exquisite potted plants, beautiful floral arrangements, and gorgeous landscape displays.
Some 400 000 flowers, including about 40,000 Hydrangea, will be displayed.
The show will also feature a number of workshops, along with a light and sound show every night.
Luk Chi-kwong, assistant director of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, said the last flower show in 2019 attracted some 630,000 visitors. He expected a similar figure for this year’s show.
