During the event, which is being hosted by the Ministry of Education, the Hong Kong delegation will conduct professional exchanges with Chinese education practitioners from across the country and overseas.

As part of her visit to Chongqing, Dr Choi will also visit the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute and meet Hong Kong students and officials.

A brief stop at Sichuan University and an education establishment in Chengdu will be made by the education chief, who will also meet Sichuan Provincial officials and young Hong Kong entrepreneurs.

Acting Secretary Sze Chun-fai will take over from Ms. Choi until she returns to Hong Kong on April 28.
