HK to see large day-night temperature difference: Observatory
Under the influence of the northeast monsoon, the temperature difference between day and night will be relatively significant this week, according to the Hong Kong Observatory. The mercury could drop to a minimum of 21 degrees Celsius on Tuesday.
The weather watchdog's forecast said a replenishment of the northeast monsoon would reach the coast of southern China tonight. Winds will strengthen from the north with cloudy periods and one or two rain patches on Sunday night.
The weather is expected to be generally fine and dry over Hong Kong this week. It will be cooler in the morning and at night.
The temperature for the whole week will show a relatively significant difference between day and night with a six degrees gap, making it cooler in the morning and at night.
