HK suspends quarantine-free return scheme for Hongkongers in Guangdong

The Centre for Health Protection said in view of Covid cases emerging in Guangzhou Liwan, Hong Kong will suspend the quarantine-free Return2hk travel scheme for Hongkongers in Guangdong.
Health officials said Guangdong will be categorized as a medium-risk place.

Starting tomorrow, Hongkongers in Guangdong will not be able to return to Hong Kong through the quarantine-free scheme.

The scheme originally allows Hongkongers to return to the city without going through a 14-day quarantine as long as they tested negative three days before their return.
