According to the police, the minivan was found parking near the traffic light junction of Chi Kiang Street for more than two hours at around 3 am today and caused a temporary traffic jam, which led the witness to call the police in worry about the driver fainting inside.
However, officers found the male driver was sleeping and suddenly woke up after rescuers tapped the minivan’s window glass. The driver then immediately rushed out of the street despite the officers’ pursuit and lost control, ramming into a fruit shop.
