Diners can enjoy a multi-angle view of Victoria Harbour through zigzagged glass wall reflections when they dine at the soon-to-open M+ Museum.
The restaurant, ADD+, is located in the M+ building adjacent to the Art Park promenade. It adopts an "addictive reflection" concept to give customers in its restaurant a special view.
The M+ Museum in the West Kowloon Cultural District, opening to the public on November 12, is partnering with restaurant group Lai Sun Dining to have two new restaurant brands at the landmark, possibly opening by the end of this year.
"We are inspired to imagine the dining experience as an extension of the exhibition," the executive vice-president of Lai Sun Group, Anthony Lau Chun-hon, said at a ceremony yesterday.
ADD+ is a new restaurant brand operated by Lai Sun Dining and will provide all-day dining, ranging from Hong Kong local snacks to fresh takes on global cuisine.
An “addictive reflection” concept in the restaurant means that the interior will be surrounded by a zigzagging glass wall, which will reflect the harbor view to every corner of the room.
Inspired by the evolution of Hong Kong’s skyline throughout the day, from calm mornings to glowing nights, the glass wall will change from morning to evening, offering different moods and tones throughout the day.
A two Michelin-starred Korean restaurant, Mosu, will also open a branch at the M+ museum.
Mosu Hong Kong is a branch of Michelin 2-star restaurant Mosu Seoul. Food there will be made by Korean rustic ingredients, such as burdock bark, and handmade radish water kimchi. It will also have fusion cuisines by Sung Ahn, Mosu’s executive chef.
Mosu will be on the third floor of M+, in between the giant LED screen outside the building and the roof garden.
