Greater Bay Airlines launches first flight to Osaka in April
Hong Kong’s local Greater Bay Airlines will fly its first plane to Japan’s Osaka on April 28, with plans to add flights to Korea’s Seoul.
Aircraft of the young low-cost carrier will land in Tokyo three times per week from April, with the lowest ticket fare marking HK$830 for a single trip of the inaugural flights.
This is the airway’s fifth landing point after it launched a regular service to Tokyo, Seoul, Bangkok, and Taipei.
"Japan has always been a popular destination for Hongkonger’s travel in holidays," said the airway, "and the flights to Osaka which take off in the mornings and afternoons are the practice for Greater Bay Airlines to expand the air traffic net and bring more ideal travel experience to passengers.
The airline also revealed that it will add one more flight per week, to four times in total, from Hong Kong to Seoul starting from April 24 and plans for routes to China’s Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Wuhan, Hangzhou, and Manila of the Philippines.
