Get the best value out of your consumption vouchers

The first batch of consumption vouchers under the government’s consumption voucher scheme will be disbursed on 1st August. To help the public make better use of their vouchers, shopping malls around town are launching enticing promotions that enhance the value of the vouchers through shopping, dining, entertainment and more.
Link is giving away $17 million worth of offers to encourage shoppers to make the most of the vouchers through daily necessities spending. The retail group is launching the “Rice Up to Win” campaign at 23 designated Link shopping malls and fresh markets from 1st August to 15th October. Customers who have registered as a Link member can collect a 1-kilogram bag of rice upon a single spending of at least $500 using one of the four payment platforms taking part in the scheme.

Link members can also collect e-stamps at the same selected 23 malls and markets for redemption of home appliances. Shoppers will earn one e-stamp for a single purchase of $50 paid with electronic payment. Holders of 150 e-stamps can redeem a récolte Rain Drip Coffee Maker or a récolte Press Sand Maker Plaid, while holders of 300 e-stamps can redeem a récolte Compact Rice Cooker.

Customers can use the same receipts from electronic payment for both the collection of the kilogram of rice and e-stamps at the same time. Gifts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while stock lasts. Remaining stamps can be used to enter a lucky draw in November with a top prize valued at $100,000.

Starting on the same day, seven Henderson Malls, including MCP CENTRAL & MCP DISCOVERY, MOSTown, KOLOUR • Tsuen Wan I & II, KOLOUR • Yuen Long, Shatin Centre • Shatin Plaza, Trend Plaza and Square Mile, present two waves of voucher scheme rewards. The “Two-wave Consumption Voucher Upgrade” promotion will be running from 1st August till the end of the year. Shoppers who have registered as members of H·COINS stand a chance to win $500 of e-coupon upon an accumulative electronic spending of $5,000, raising the value of consumption vouchers by 10%.

H·COINS members with each accumulative spending of $1,000 can win $60 e-coupon, with $30 each in shopping and dining. During the 5-month promotion period, each member can use the reward up to five times, winning a total of $300 in e-coupon.

Shoppers who have received the first wave offer five times can enter the second wave of promotion rewards, winning an additional $200 Henderson Malls e-coupon. Each member can only receive this offer once during the period. AliPayHK, Octopus, Tap & Go and WeChat Pay HK are the four recognized electronic payment platforms under the consumption vouchers scheme.
