Opening for registration from tomorrow, the association will give out HK$6.5 million in 65 prizes each carrying HK$100,000 in credit cards or shopping vouchers to echo the Hong Kong government's call to encourage citizens to get jabbed as soon as possible.

All Hong Kong ID card holders -- permanent and non-permanent residents -- aged 18 and above by September 13 can enter the lucky draw as long as they complete both doses of covid-19 vaccine in Hong Kong by August 31.

Registration at www.hkabluckydraw.hk opens at 10am tomorrow until 5pm on September 13 and winners will be drawn on September 17. Entrants only need to plug in their full Hong Kong ID card number and mobile number to sign up.

The Association's chairwoman Diana Cesar thanked 31 of its members for supporting the draw and called it as a "shared commitment of banking industry to the well-being of Hong Kong people and society."
