Naked German Tourist Sent for Mental Health Treatment in Bali After Temple Gatecrash
A German tourist who stripped naked and gatecrashed a sacred performance at a temple in Bali has been sent for mental health treatment by Indonesian officials.
The 28-year-old woman was also charged with failing to pay hotel bills.
She was seen naked at the Saraswati Hindu temple in Ubud and got into an argument with staff members before entering the outdoor arena and standing close to the dancers.
The Indonesian police did not press charges against her, but she was eventually transported to a mental hospital in Bangli town.
