Four people hospitalized in Citybus hit-and-run in Sheung Wan
Two men and two women were sent to hospital after the seven-seater they were in was hit by a Citybus double-decker, which then fled the scene in Sheung Wan around 1pm on Wednesday.
The double-decker was traveling along Connaught Road West towards Central, colliding with the car, making a turn from an intersection outside Western Market.
The bus crashed into the right-hand side of the car's front, and the car's bumper almost fell off, with some of the bus parts scattered on the ground.
The double-decker didn't pull over but fled the scene following the crash.
The male driver of the seven-seater and three other passengers sustained minor injuries and were sent to Queen Mary Hospital.
The double-decker was later located at a bus stop outside Statue Square in Central, about 1 km away.
The front of the bus was seriously damaged, and there were cracks in the windscreen. The bus captain, aged about 60, was also spotted aiding police investigations.
It was understood that a report was filed to the police by one of the bus passengers.
