First JPMorgan Chase lounges confirmed for Hong Kong, Boston and New York’s LaGuardia

Airport Dimensions has announced the first three locations for its new airport lounge brand in partnership with JPMorgan Chase.
The new Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club brand was unveiled in June, and it has now been confirmed that three lounges are in development at Hong Kong, Boston and New York’s LaGuardia airports.

The first lounge will open at Hong Kong International’s Terminal 1 later this year, with two further facilities in the pipeline at New York LaGuardia’s new Terminal B, and Boston Logan International airport’s Terminal B to C Connector.

Airport Dimensions – which is a subsidiary of Priority Pass owner Collinson – said that opening dates and additional lounge details “will be announced over time at select major airports as the network continues to expand”.

The company also confirmed that the lounges would be available to Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders, as well as Priority Pass members.

The news follows the recent acquisition of No1 Lounges by a joint venture of Airport Dimensions and Swissport, which brought the lounges back within the Priority Pass network for the first time since October 2020.

Last month Airport Dimensions also launched new Brazilian airport lounge concept Ambaar Club, with plans to roll out the brand across four Brazilian airports in the coming months.

Commenting on the news Catherine Hogan, president of Chase Branded Cards, said:

“We are committed to providing elevated experiences throughout customers’ travel journeys, and our Sapphire Reserve cardmembers have told us lounge benefits are something they want.

“We’re excited to bring Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club to life in airports in cities across the US and beyond, providing our cardmembers new value, through a fresh approach that’s rooted in the unique Sapphire experiences they love.”

Over time the lounges are likely to go head to head with American Express’ network of Centurion lounges, developed for the firm’s premium card holders. Credit card specialist Capital One also recently announced plans to launch its own airport lounges, starting with locations at Dallas Fort Worth and Washington Dulles.
