Fire breaks out at Hong Kong Sanatorium and Hospital, no injuries
A fire broke out Friday at the Hong Kong Sanatorium and Hospital, with no injuries reported.
Firefighters responded to the call at around 2am after a fire alarm at the Department of Diagnostic & Interventional Radiology was triggered by the smoke.
The Fire Services Department said they mobilized one breathing apparatus team to fight the blaze with one jet, extinguishing the fire at 3.15am.
It was believed the fire was due to a short circuit in a heater.
The floor the fire broke out was empty and no evacuation was required.
