Fire at Wang Cheong Factory Estate in Cheung Sha Wan prompts evacuation of 60 workers
On Thursday morning, 60 workers were evacuated from the Wang Cheong Factory Estate in Cheung Sha Wan after a fire broke out in a flat on the sixth floor of the building.
Firefighters were called to the scene at around 10 am and deployed one water jet to douse the flames.
The fire was eventually put out about 30 minutes later.
The workers were able to evacuate on their own and no injuries were reported.
The building is set to be demolished in the future.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown and under investigation.
