The incident took place at 9.40am today on Wang Lok Street in Yuen Long. The driver of the seven seater suddenly lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the end of a container trailer on the road.

The end of the container trailer pierced through the windscreen of the white vehicle and wounded the head of the driver.

Police and firemen soon arrived at the scene upon receiving the report. They rescued the driver who was stuck in the vehicle and was unconscious. They then rushed him to Pok Oi Hospital, but the man was later certified dead.

Officers are now searching for the dashcam of the white vehicle and investigating the cause of incident.
