Fashion Brands Make History for Pride Month

From Versace to Balenciaga, these fashion powerhouses are celebrating Pride in style.

In honor of Pride Month, luxury brands are unveiling collections and limited drops to celebrate and give back to the LGBTQIA+ community. Originating as a way to commemorate the Stonewall Riots that changed the course of the Gay Liberation Movement, Pride Month has evolved into a celebration like no other.

In recent years, brands have been more willing to unveil collections and collaborations that directly benefit the LGBTQIA+ community. This year, several brands have collaborated with queer artists, models, and charities for the vey first time. Whether its Versace's star-studded collaboration or Tiffany's emotional campaign, L'OFFICIEL highlights the fashion brands making history this Pride Month.

Balenciaga



Unveiled as apart of the brand's Pre-Fall 2021 collection, Balenciaga is celebrating Pride Month through a collection of vibrant hoodies, hats, and undergarments. The luxury house is donating 15% of all sales from the collection to the Trevor Project—a nonprofit that focuses on suicide prevention amongst LGBTQIA+ youth.

Coach




The New York brand is highlighting Pride Month through a collection of pieces in its signature monogram trhough the lens of celebrities like Miles Heizer and Rina Sawayama. Unveiling new iterations of buzzy accessories, the collection will benefit several LGBTQIA+ charities and foundations.

Savage x Fenty




Celebrating diversity and highlighting key figures in the LGBTQ+ community, Savage x Fenty enlists the likes of Gigi Goode, Jazzmyne Robbins, and Noah Carlos for its first Pride collection. Available in sizes ranging from XS to 3X, the range of stockings, bralettes, and boxer briefs will benefit several LGBTQIA+ charities-GLAAD, The Audre Lorde Project, The Carribean Equality Project, INC., TransLatin@ Coalition, and the Trans Wellness Center.

Ralph Lauren




Ralph Lauren's gender-neutral collection of polo shirts, sweatshirts, and accessories will benefit the Stonewall Community Foundation. The brand also unveils its first-ever Pride eyewear campaign that will also benefit the foundation.

Versace




In partnership with Lady Gaga, Donnatella Versace is auctioning a replica of the singer's iconic "Born This Way" motorcycle jacket-with all proceeds going to Gaga's Born This Way Foundation. Along with the auction, Versace drops a limited-edition "Born This Way" T-shirt and beret to celebrate Pride month and raise funds for the singer's charity-a first collaboration for the long-time friends.

Calvin Klein




Calvin Klein's Pride collection focuses on autheniticty through an encompassing range of undergarments, swimwear, and accessories worn on the likes of Omar Ayuso, Arca, and Honey Dijon. A portion of funds goes directly to the Trevor Project as well as the Transgender Legal Defense and Education Fund, onePULSE Foundation, and BlaQ Aboriginal Corporation in Australia-the first time the American brand has contributed to the latter three charities.

Tiffany & Co.




Tiffany's Stand For Love campaign highlights LGBTQIA+ New Yorkers while exploring themes of togetherness and emotion. The new video reveals key themes of Pride Month and focuses on the brand's commitment to supporting the LGBTQIA+ community-through charitable donations to the Ali Forney Center and SAGE.
