The taxi was parked on Kwong Fuk Road in Tai Po outside Wong Shiu Chi Secondary School. A citizen spotted the driver suspectedly passed out in the taxi and reported to the police at 8.36am today.

Medics soon arrived and provided first aid to the driver. They also rushed him to Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital but he was later certified dead.

During investigation officers found the driver once lowered the back of his seat, believing that the driver was taking a nap at that time.

Police didn't find the incident suspicious and the cause of death is yet to be confirmed.
