Dragon Boat Races Return to Hong Kong After 4-Year Break
The Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Races will be held after a 4-year break on June 24 and 25, attracting over 160 teams from around the world to participate in 17 events at Victoria Harbour.
Over 4,000 participants will take part in the races, with teams from Australia, Thailand, and the Philippines competing.
The event will feature the first-ever Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area Championship, and the Hong Kong-Macau Trophy, which will be a collaboration with Macau.
To attract more overseas teams, a cash prize of US$10,000 will be awarded to the winning teams in five major races.
