Director of Health under quarantine

The Director of Health Ronald Lam Man-kin has been identified as close contact and undergoing quarantine as his deputy had tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday.
Lam has taken rapid antigen tests regularly with negative test results obtained. He also tested negative today.

Separately, lawmaker Maggie Chan Man-ki was listed as a close contact on Thursday as she had contacted a confirmed patient on July 11. She has to stay in home quarantine until July 18, during which she has to be absent from all physical meetings, work and activities.

She mentioned on the social media page that she has taken rapid tests every working day since July 1 and the results were all negative. She is currently in normal physical condition.

Chan attended the "antechamber chats" at the Legislative Council Complex on Wednesday and uploaded photos taken with Financial Secretary Paul Chan Mo-po and Secretary for Justice Paul Lam Ting-kwok on social media.

During the panel discussion, she was in the same group with Lam Ting-kwok, Legco president Andrew Leung Kwan-yuen, as well as lawmaker Peter Douglas Koon Ho-ming and Kingsley Wong Kwok.
