Death of Yuen Long woman with knife in throat deemed unsuspicious
Police said no foul play is suspected in the death of a woman in her 70s after being found unconscious in her Yuen Long home with a knife lodged in her throat.
The force got the call of an emergency at around 11pm on Wednesday when a security guard found the unresponsive woman in her home at Shek Ping House of Long Ping Estate.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene after officers and paramedics arrived.
Officers deemed the woman’s death unsuspicious after further investigation and listed the case as a dead body found.
