Customs seize dangerous drugs worth about HK$580,000, one arrested
Customs seized a batch of drugs suspected to be ketamine, ecstasy and meth valued at HK$580,000 in the Shenzhen Bay Immigration Control Point and Sham Shui Po during the weekend. A man was arrested.
Officers inspected an express parcel from Italy via the mainland at the Shenzhen Bay Control Point last Saturday. The package was declared as sports sneakers.
Upon examination, Customs found the batch of suspected ketamine and ecstasy were concealed inside two pairs of roller skates.
Officers arrested a 45-year-old man in Sham Shui Po on Monday and seized about one gram of suspected methamphetamine in his apartment.
