A total of 115 secondary schools had fully resumed classes as of Thursday, according to Secretary for Education Kevin Yeung Yun-hung.
Yeung said 134 secondary schools had applied for resuming full-day classes for all years, of which 115 schools had seen their application approved.
Meanwhile, 233 secondary schools had applied for resuming full-day classes for certain years, of which 227 schools had been given the green light.
The education minister on the other hand called on students, parents and schools to support government's anti-pandemic measures, hoping students can get their normal school lives back in a safe environment.
Starting yesterday (Thursday), teenagers aged 12 to 17 can receive the Sinovac
vaccine.
