Citizens who visit Book Fair on July 18 to undergo compulsory testing
Citizens who had been to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on July 18 must undergo compulsory testing as a person who tested preliminary positive had been to there as well.
The Centre for Health Protection informed the Hong Kong Trade Development Council that a person who tested preliminary positive for the virus had visited the HK Convention and Exhibition Centre on July 18.
That person who tested preliminary positive was found carrying the L452R mutant strain.
Citizens who had been to the Book Fair, Sports and Leisure Expo, and World of Snacks held there from 11am to 2pm on July 18 must undergo compulsory testing no later then Monday.
The council also said it has informed exhibitors and workers to strictly comply with the compulsory testing notice.
