Cabbie murder suspect holding charged with murder

Police laid a holding charge of murder against the cabbie murder suspect who was arrested on Lamma Island on Wednesday night.
The 31-year-old Matthew Choi Naam-sang was arrested at 8.3pm on Wednesday by armed officers, after a foreigner reported that she spotted Choi drinking beer outside a store.

The case will be mentioned at Kwun Tong Magistrates’ Courts tomorrow (October 16) morning.

The murder took place around 6am on Tuesday in Sai Wan, where he allegedly slashed the neck of a 48-year-old taxi driver with a chopper.
