Burst saltwater main disrupts Eastern Hospital services
A saltwater main situated on the first floor of the main building of Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital burst on Tuesday morning, disrupting morning services.
The hospital said the water main burst at 6.15 am this morning, with emergency repair already underway.
It is understood the first floor, as well as the corridor and lift lobby on the ground floor, were flooded because of the water leakage.
Due to the incident, services at the Chai Wan Government Dental Clinic and the Chai Wan Families Clinic have been temporarily suspended this morning.
