Boar plunges to death from third floor car park in North Point
A boar suffered a painful death Saturday morning as it sustained a critical injury after plunging from the third floor of a car park in North Point.
Passers-by reported to police around 6.30am today after they found the boar lying at the bus stop outside North Point Center on King’s Road.
The one-meter-long boar sustained injuries to its limbs and attempted to stand up straight and leave the scene but in vain.
Officers soon arrived and cordoned off the area holding their shields. Staffers from the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department were then called to the scene about 9am and pronounced the boar dead.
After investigations, police believed that the boar plunged to its death from the building’s car park located on the third floor.
The dead body of the boar was taken away by the department’s staffers.
