i-Cable has been granted exclusive broadcasting rights for the Hangzhou Asian Games set from September 23 next year.
It will be the seventh time in a row that the TV station will broadcast the Games to Hong Kong audience.
i-Cable said it will air all events involving Hong Kong athletes on its free and pay-TV channels. It will also offer "extensive" online and offline interactive experiences through multichannel marketing.
Vice chairman and executive director Patrick Tsang On-yip said the group is "very honored" to acquire the rights for the Games, which will for the first time include e-sports.
Tsang said the group has always supported the development of international and local sports events.
"Last year, the group was widely applauded for its professional and earnest production team during the broadcast of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Together with the Hong Kong athletes' achievements, passion for the Olympics was aroused," Tsang said.
"By virtue of broadcasting the Asian Games for over 20 years the group will continue to pursue professionalism and deliver every winning moment."
The Games, originally scheduled from September 10 and 25 this year, has been postponed to September 23 to October 8 next year due to the pandemic.
There will be 24 competitive sports events, 18 ball sports, nine adversary sports and 10 water sports.
