Application for sales of almost 9,000 subsidized flats to open on Feb 25

Application for sales of flats under the Home Ownership Scheme will start from 8 am on February 25, offering a total of 8,926 flats in seven new estates.
They are Kei Wah Court in North Point, Kai Yan Court in Kai Tak, Kwun Shan Court in Ma Tau Kok, On Sau Court in Kwun Tong, Chiu Ming Court in Tseung Kwan O, Yu Tak Court in Sha Tin and Yu Nga Court in Tung Chung.

The sale will also include 15 rescinded flats from Choi Wo Court and Shan Lai Court previously put up for sale under the Home Ownership scheme in 2020.

The Hong Kong Housing Society will also offer 27 rescinded units in its three Subsidised Sale Flats projects, including 11 from Greenhill Villa in Sha Tin, six from Mount Verdant in Tseung Kwan O and 10 from Terrace Concerto in Tuen Mun.

The provisional average selling prices of the new HOS developments and the rescinded flats for resale will be at a 49 percent discount from the assessed market value.

The Housing Authority will finalize the discount rate and average selling prices when the saleable areas of new HOS flats are finalized, tentatively in the first half of 2022.

The Housing Authority and the Housing Society will conduct a joint application exercise, where eligible applicants could submit a single application and undergo one vetting process for buying flats of the HA or HKHS.

Members of the public can browse the websites for HOS 2022 and for White Form Secondary Market Scheme 2022, to view application forms and guides, sales booklets of new HOS developments together with sales leaflets for rescinded HOS flats and recovered TPS flats starting from Friday.

Printed copies can be collected at the Housing Authority Customer Service Centre in Lok Fu, the office of the HA's Green Form Subsidised Home Ownership Scheme Sales Unit, estate offices and District Tenancy Management Offices of the HA and rental estate offices of the HKHS from February 25. The application period will last four weeks.
