His social media wrote this noon that Wan, who's currently held in custody due to the primary election case, was charged over the incident that happened in LegCo on October 16 last year.

According to reports, Wan will be brought to court next Tuesday on April 13.

Previously, Wan was accused of subverting a LegCo panel’s voting process by casting an extra vote during the election of a chairperson for the environmental affairs panel.

Pro-Beijing lawmaker Junius Ho Kwan-yiu, who chaired the meeting, said a review of security camera footage shows Wan’s fellow lawmaker Helena Wong Pik-wan had kept a ballot from an earlier panel meeting, before passing it to Wan, who allegedly insert ballot papers twice into the ballot box.
