A 56-year-old air crew member from Saudi Arabia tested positive for Covid-19 with the L452R variant, Hong Kong authorities announced on Monday.
The man arrived on October 23 via flight SV982 and has stayed at the Penny's Bay Quarantine Centre.
He was a close contact of a previously confirmed imported case -- a 51-year-old male air crew member from Saudi Arabia who was confirmed with
Covid-19 on October 24.
Residents of Block H2, Graceful Mansion, Siena Two in Discovery Bay are reminded to undergo compulsory testing on Tuesday.
The testing notice was issued after another 54-year-old male air crew member tested positive upon arrival on October 25. He left Hong Kong on October 21 and had lived in the Discovery Bay premise during the incubation period.
