A total of 100,000 free local one-way tickets have gone in less than two hours

A total of 100,000 free one-way MTR tickets to celebrate the best-ever performance of the Hong Kong team in the Tokyo Olympics were distributed within less than 1.5 hours.
MTR said earlier that registered users of their mobile app can claim free one-way tickets from 2 pm this afternoon.

The app ran slowly after the campaign started, and some netizens were unable to access the dedicated page.

MTR announced that all free tickets have been distributed at around 3:30 pm.
